PROFESSIONAL ARTISTIC ENSEMBLE "CRIȘANA" – 2019 RETROSPECTIVE

2019 was a good year for the Professional Artistic Ensemble “Crișana”. Thus, in 2019, 52 performances were held by the members of the ensemble, including premieres, reruns, partnerships in plays, educational concerts, partnerships with local authorities, Romanian evenings. Performances were held in the localities of Lugașu de Jos, Sâmbăta, Brusturi, Vârciorog, Fâșca, Bulz, Remeți, Sânnicolau Român, Sânmartin, Bratca, Săcădat, Izbuc, Topa de Sus, Țețchea, as well as in Oradea, Beiuș, Nucet, Aleșd, Marghita. We were also partners in 12 theater performances, and outside the county we held performances in Huedin, Subcetate (Harghita County), Suceava, Satu Mare, with total receipts exceeding 154,000 lei.

In 2019, action was taken to rejuvenate the dance group, where a blockage had been reached regarding the assimilation and reproduction of artistic moments.

The material base was also completed, purchasing folk costumes from the Codru area and completing the costumes from Bihor and Oltenia.

Also, the halls where the ballet/dance and orchestra departments hold their rehearsals were repaired, works that had been necessary for many years.

All these achievements were achieved through the efforts of the team, with the support of interim manager Elvira Rîmbu and the Bihor County Council.

As for the year 2020, it has an important meaning for us because we will celebrate 70 years of existence of the Crișana Orchestra. We have prepared a series of anniversary performances and events, but we cannot reveal them until the budget is approved.
