Queen Maria Theater on tour in Vienna
The shows "A Very Simple Story" and "The Wizard of Oz" will be performed in Vienna, as part of a tour between February 26-28, 2019. The two productions of the "Regina Maria" Theater ("Iosif Vulcan" Troupe) will be performed at the Pygmalion Theater in the Austrian capital, with which there is a cultural exchange partnership. The shows are addressed to the Romanian community in Vienna, but also to the general public.
The Oradea actors will play "A Very Simple Story" by Maria Lado, directed by Elvira Rîmbu, on February 27, and "The Wizard of Oz", based on a script and directed by Dan Mirea, on February 28.
Last fall, "A Very Simple Story" was presented at the Chernivtsi International Theater Festival, having a remarkable audience success.
The partnership of the "Regina Maria" Theater with the Pygmalion Theater dates back to 2013, when a joint co-production was also carried out, and consists of periodic cultural exchanges.
