SHOWS AT FITO: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

The second day of the Oradea International Theater Festival, Saturday, September 21, starts at 2 pm with a street show: living statues on Corso - the costumed members of the Become Theater Company from Sibiu.

From 5 pm we invite you to the first show in the competition organized within the Short Theater Festival: THE LESSON (by Eugène Ionesco, directed by Florin Vidamski), by the Athanor Theater in Germany - the absurd play that proposes a burlesque text but with dramatic play.

On the Corso, from 6 pm, you are welcome to the Mexican fiesta: together with the Mexican Folkloric Dance Group “Aztlán”. Its sources of inspiration come from the daily activities of rural Mexicans, from the flora and fauna of the region.

From 7 pm, at the Great Hall, a new show from the FTS competition is being played: LEONIDA GEM SESSION, by the Hungarian State Theatre in Cluj! The stars of Hungarian theatre, András Hatházi and Zsolt Bogdán, come with a show led by one of the best directors of the moment, Gábor Tompa, dedicated to the incomparable Caragiale.

From 8 pm, we invite you to two shows from the FRINGE section, which are playing in parallel: INSOMNIACII (Become Theater Company from Sibiu), in Stage and TOM & JERRY (Teatrek Cultural Association, Târgu Mureș), in Moszkva Cafe.

We end the second evening of FITO with a super show of Russian music: beloved actress Tania Popa comes with the RUSSIAN NIGHT concert (from 10 pm at Arcadia Hall).

Tickets (except for FRINGE performances) are on sale at the Theatre Ticket Agency (open Monday to Friday between 10am and 7pm and on weekends between 10am and 1pm, and also one hour before the performance), as well as online, at www.biletmaster.ro. Tickets for the performances in the FRINGE section can be purchased from the venue where the performances are performed (Stage or Moszkva Cafe).

We look forward to seeing you at the theater!
