THE GIANT EGG OF THE QUEEN MARIA THEATRE HAS ARRIVED IN LOTUS!

The humanitarian project, which the "Pro Valoare Foundation" together with Lotus Center is initiating in April, consists of exhibiting the making/decorating of an egg measuring at least 1.5 m in height and diameter.

The Regina Maria Theater responded to the invitation, as it has done every year since 2011, so the theater's giant egg arrived yesterday afternoon at Lotus Oradea. The egg was conceived this year by designer Ianis Vasilatos.

The eggs displayed in the Lotus Center will be auctioned after the Easter Holidays, in early May – and the money will be donated to charitable causes.

The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. The show is specifically dedicated to the adolescent audience, but is also addressed to parents, teachers and all those interested in how the digital world influences identity formation and relationships between generations.

Every theater is part of a community. Every community has a story.
Every year, on 25 October, historic buildings across Europe, along with other institutions dedicated to heritage, celebrate the European Historic Theaters Day.
Our Shared Stage celebrates historic buildings as spaces that belong to multiple generations, communities and cultures. A theater is more than a stage or an auditorium: it is a place of encounter, shaped by all those who have worked, learned and performed within its walls.
