THE QUEEN MARIA THEATRE IS INVOLVED IN UNIVERSITY LIFE
In order to support academic activity in the city, the Regina Maria Theater accepted the invitation of the Department of Political Science and Communication Sciences to organize a press conference in the Radio Laboratory of the University of Oradea so that students could practice the tools of such a practice "live".
In this regard, within the laboratory supported by Lucian Cremeneanu, the Regina Maria Theater simulated the organization of a press conference in which students played the role of reporters present at the event and then wrote a material on the subject and analyzed the positive and negative points of the action.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
