The Regina Maria Theater returned from the "Deva Performing Arts Festival"

The Regina Maria Theater returned from the "Deva Performing Arts" Festival, organized by the Deva Art Theater, where it participated with the show "Leonce and Lena", scripted by Mihai Măniuțiu and Ada Milea after Georg Büchner, under the artistic direction of Mihai Măniuțiu.

The show "Leonce and Lena" already enjoys national acclaim, from 2014 to the present participating in over 10 prestigious festivals in the country, where it won five awards and enjoyed two nominations. The success of the show, however, was certified each time by the reaction of the audience, which rewarded the actors with long applause and repeated calls to the stage. The Oradea troupe was greeted with the same wonderful reaction at the "Deva Performing Arts Festival".

"Deva Performing Arts Festival" is in its first edition and takes place between May 12 and 18, during which the public has the opportunity to see 10 shows, some of the best productions of theaters in the country and the Deva theater. The event is structured in two sections, indoor - outdoor, and the show "Leonce and Lena" was part of the indoor section and was performed on May 13, from 6:00 PM, at the Deva Art Theater Hall.

Congratulations to the Regina Maria Theater team for always managing to bring us so much joy with every success recorded wherever they take the stage!

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
