THE SHOW "LOVE IN ANCONA" IS BACK!

On the occasion of the month in which we celebrate love, the Regina Maria Theater will resume, at the request of the public, after almost two years of hiatus, the show "Lovers from Ancona". It is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, at 7 p.m. at the Great Hall.

In Ancona, the proximity of the houses and the volcanic Latin blood make it impossible to keep secrets, so everyone finds out everything and says everything. Without exception, all the heroes love, but until the fulfillment of love there is a long way, and situations can turn upside down countless times... Also, all the heroes know how to sing, frequently and without hesitation resorting to this dynamic means of expression!

Through a modern and non-conformist approach, the entire mechanism of the play's construction is dismantled in front of the spectator, who is suggested that everything presented to him is just a convention; that any confusion is resolved more simply and harmoniously than in real life, so that a two-hour stopover in this "warm and sweet illusion" will delight him and take him out of the rhythm of everyday worries.

Come and sing along with our heroes to the musical hits of Italy from the 70s, performed live on stage by the actors of the "Iosif Vulcan" Band: Richard Balint, Anca Sigmirean, Sebastian Lupu, Corina Cernea, Alexandru Rusu, Andrian Locovei, Mihaela Gherdan and Ioana Dragoş Gajdo. Actress Adela Lazăr (still on maternity leave) will be replaced by an actress from Satu Mare, Alina Negrău.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
