Three nominations and two UNITER awards for the Regina Maria Theater at the 29th edition of the UNITER Awards Gala!
On Monday, July 19, 2021, the UNITER Awards gala for 2020 took place at the "IL Caragiale" National Theater in Bucharest. The Regina Maria Theater had nominations in three categories out of the 11 in which awards are given:
1. DEBUT – Diana Păcurar for directing the show "Three Tall Women"
2. BEST SET DESIGN – Adrian Damian for the set design of the show "The Inspector General", by NVGogol, directed by Petru Vutcărău
3. BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE – Răzvan Vicoveanu for the role of Ivan Alexandrovich Khlestacov, from the play "The Inspector General", by NVGogol, directed by Petru Vutcărău
The news that moved us and made us extremely happy is the fact that both Adrian Damian and Răzvan Vicoveanu were chosen as winners of the UNITER awards in the categories for which they were nominated. Also, Diana Păcurar and Adrian Damian were also the audience favorites in the DEBUT and BEST SET DESIGN categories, respectively.
We congratulate the three nominees and winners: director Diana Păcurar, set designer Adrian Damian and actor Răzvan Vicoveanu! We also congratulate everyone who makes the magic of the stage possible, from the creative, artistic, technical and administrative team, to those who support the theater and the spectators who love it. Such an achievement would not have been possible without everyone's involvement and dedication!
