End-of-season trips and festivals_2018
The 2017-2018 season of the Regina Maria Theatre in Oradea is coming to an end. A theatrical year full of extraordinary events, in which we experienced strong and uplifting emotions together with our wonderful audience, to whom we would like to thank with all our hearts.
The show that will close the season at the venue is "Enigmatic Variations", by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, directed by Elvira Rîmbu. However, the artistic journey of the Regina Maria Theatre does not stop here and before officially entering the short summer vacation, we confidently set off towards other horizons.
On Sunday, June 17, we will stop again in Bihor, more precisely in Beiuș, where we will perform the show "In Full Glory!", by Peter Quilter, directed by Cristian Ioan. We return to Oradea only to pack up and prepare for a summer theater festival: the show "The Fiddler on the Roof" was invited to participate in the 3rd edition of the "Myths of the Fortress" International Theater Festival, organized by the Constanta State Theater.
After we will recapture the walls of the Constanta fortress and create beautiful stories by the seashore, which will remain in the hearts of the spectators for a long time, we return home and thoroughly prepare for another exceptional artistic encounter: the show "Enigmatic Variations", by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, directed by Elvira Rîmbu, will be performed as part of the second edition of the Turda International Theater Festival 2018. It will take place under the theme: together, and will take place from June 29 to July 8, aiming to offer 10 days full of color and harmony to the inhabitants of the city of Turda and the tourists who will be passing through during that period.
Congratulations to the Regina Maria Theater team for another successful season, in which we had extraordinary premieres, participation in prestigious festivals in the country, meetings with renowned artists, high-value cultural events and awards.
We'll see you next season with the Oradea International Theater Festival, which will take place from September 23 to 30, 2018, and with lots of wonderful projects!
