#TRMteens – a new educational program from TRM

The Iosif Vulcan troupe of the Regina Maria Theater is launching, starting this season, an educational program dedicated to teenagers. 

A group of 15 young people (girls and boys) will have the chance to participate in an acting internship, supported by professional actors and directors. They will be selected following a casting, which will take place on October 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM, at the Transilvania Hall, by director Bobi Pricop and the interim manager of the Regina Maria Theater, Victoria Balint.

Theater workshops will take place monthly, during the years 2024-2025, on a mutually agreed day, at the Regina Maria Theater. Some of the young people participating in the internship will be part of the cast of the show "Spring Awakening" by Frank Wedekind, artistic direction by Bobi Pricop, which will be staged at the Great Hall of the Theater.

The objectives of this program:

  • Developing self-confidence, managing emotions
  • Overcoming fears and improving communication skills
  • Learning valuable techniques of theatrical improvisation, stage movement
  • Developing teamwork skills
  • Developing communication skills
  • Development of attention and memory
  • Developing creativity.

Tonight, the theater opens its doors differently.

With the help of this audio guide, you will be able to walk the route prepared especially for the event on your own and discover stories about the building's architecture, the history of the Oradea theater, the backstage spaces, the stage mechanisms and the small details that the audience usually does not have the opportunity to observe.

From the foyer and the Great Hall, to the boxes, balcony, and the spaces that support the magic behind a show, this tour invites you to look at the theater not just as a place for performances, but as a living organism, in which every corner has a story.
