THE CRIȘANA ENSEMBLE – AT EXPO MILANO 2015
Between October 24 and 30, 2015, a small group of artists from the Crişana Professional Artistic Ensemble, consisting of dancers, instrumental artists coordinated by Adrian Miescu and vocal soloists Leontin Ciucur, Cornelia Covaciu and Otilia Haragoş Seghedi, represented Bihor County and Romania at the Milan World Expo 2015.
Artists from Bihor will perform at the Romanian Pavilion the show: "Song and Play - a Source of Health", in which they will explore all the folklore areas of Romania through song and dance.
Expo Milano 2015 takes place from May 1 to October 31, 2015 in Italy and has as its theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life". The 6-month exhibition event offers visibility to Romania by highlighting its traditions, creativity, innovation and authenticity.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
