”"A Thousand and One Frontiers (The Story of Aladdin)" – present at two international festivals

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre has been present in recent days at two international festivals in the country with the show ”"A Thousand and One Frontiers (The Story of Aladdin)"”, by Radu Dinulescu, under the artistic direction of Luis Montoto. The actors from Oradea were invited to participate in the International Children's Theater Festival "Arlechino 66 - Caravan of Tales" in Brașov and the "Atelier" Festival, the oldest theater festival in the country, now in its 22nd edition, organized in Sfântu Gheorghe.

In Brașov, the performance took place on June 5, and in Sfântu Gheorghe, the actors took the stage on June 7 and performed to a full house. The reaction of the audience and the jury was impressive, the show and the performance enjoying applause for minutes on end.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
