He began his career as an amateur artist at the Western Theatre and the Puppet Theatre in Oradea. He was selected among those who founded the Romanian section in 1955, where he had the chance to play the Tormented Citizen in the inaugural performance of the play "A Lost Letter" by IL Caragiale. Endowed with humor and hard work, he made up for his lack of specialized training with conscientiousness and dedication. He played a lot, bringing a splash of color through his sincere and spontaneous stage appearances. He passed away prematurely, after almost three decades dedicated to the Oradea stage. 

He was a Brighella ("The Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni) full of fun and joy, then he interpreted, with the same joy and sincere love and respect for the stage, servants, bagpipers, humble officials, animals of all kinds, waiters and cooks, priests, guards, commissioners and postmen, confectioners and porters, a whole suite of supporting characters, all impeccably played. He was a very good Tândala (in the show "Sânziana and Pepelea" by V. Alecsandri), and also an Agamiţă Dandanache elaborated with care and originality (in "A Lost Letter" by IL Caragiale).
