PREMIERE – SNOW WHITE

We are pleased to announce a new premiere of the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre, namely the puppet show SNOW WHITE (theatrical fairy tale by Traian Savinescu, based on the Brothers Grimm). The premiere will take place on Saturday, September 22, starting at 11 am, at the newly renovated hall of the Arcadia Troupe.

INTERNATIONAL FOLKLORE FESTIVAL, 2ND EDITION

Between July 20-22, the second edition of the International Folklore Festival will take place in Oradea, within the 19th Edition of the Folk Craftsmen Fair! It is organized by the Regina Maria Theater – Crişana Professional Artistic Ensemble, in collaboration with the “Criş Land Museum” Complex, the County Center for the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture Bihor and the Hora – Oradea Association.

ROMANIAN GAME AND SONG. SPECIAL GUEST: AUREL TĂMAŞ

The Regina Maria Theater has the great pleasure of inviting you to a traditional show that will take place on Thursday, April 19, to commemorate April 20, 1919, which is a landmark day in the history of the city of Oradea. That was when the city on the Crișul Repede was liberated and it legally became part of Greater Romania, as established by the Romanian delegates at the Great National Assembly in Alba Iulia on December 1, 1918.

UNITER NATIONAL CAMPAIGN – ARTISTS FOR ARTISTS!

As every year, the Regina Maria Theater responds positively to the National Campaign launched by UNITER - "Artists for Artists", so this year, on the occasion of World Theatre Day, which will be celebrated on March 27, the show chosen to be performed on this special day is "Fiddler on the Roof" (adaptation from the story by Sholom Aleichem, artistic direction by Korcsmaros Gyorgy).

The National Campaign "Artists for Artists" is organized by UNITER, together with theaters in Bucharest and across the country, with the aim of raising funds for elderly artists with health problems.

DJABE AND STEVE HACKETT AT THE QUEEN MARIA THEATRE

MARCH 8 AT THE QUEEN MARIA THEATRE

On March 8, Women's Day, we are waiting for you to celebrate with us in a special evening, in which we will celebrate women and love. Passion, romance, humor and music meet on the seaside in the comedy "The Lovers from Ancona" by Vajda Katalin, directed by Andrei Mihalache, starting at 7 p.m., in the Great Hall of the Regina Maria Theater.

The theater welcomes ladies and gentlemen on this special day, ladies accompanied by gentlemen have free admission to this musical show (of course, within the limit of available seats). This show participated, in December of last year, at the invitation of the Honorary Consulate of Romania, on the occasion of Romania's national day, in a tour in Italy, in Trento.

TWO NOMINATIONS FOR THE UNITER AWARDS

Six years after the first nominations for the Uniter Gala Awards (in 2006, in the categories "Best Supporting Actor": Richard Balint - "Best Direction Award": Victor Ioan Frunză, with the show THE MERRY WIFE OF WINDSOR), the Regina Maria Theatre is back in the spotlight of the specialized critics, having the great pleasure of announcing the two nominations received for the 2012 Uniter Gala Awards.

Thus, set designer Vioara Bara and actress Ioana Dragoş-Gajdo both received a nomination: the former for best set design in the show THE ROOF FISTING Fiddler and Ioana for best supporting role, the role of Golde in the same mega-successful show by the Regina Maria Theater.
