CONCERT AND BOOK LAUNCH IN MEMORY OF FLORICA UNGUR

THE OPERA PUSS IN BOOTS PREMIERE

The Regina Maria Theatre announces the first puppet opera performance. Puss in Boots, by Charles Perrault, was adapted into an opera by Cornel Trăilescu and is now directed by Traian Savinescu. The performance is recommended for children over 7 years old. The cast includes Zentania Lupşe, Marlena Prigoreanu, Kornelia Gnadig, Simona Codreanu, Mihaela Theodora Winter, Florin Stan, Rin Tripa, Andrei Fazecaş, Florian Silaghi, Igor Lungu.

SECOND SEASON PREMIERE: THE STORY OF ALADDIN

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre announces the second premiere of the season, A Thousand and One Frontiers (The Story of Aladdin)The show will take place on Sunday, October 12, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., but another performance is scheduled for the same day, at 5:00 p.m. A national co-production, the show is part of the Itinerance project, funded by the European Union through the Culture program.

CONFERENCE ON TRADITIONAL SHADOW THEATRE IN TURKEY

The Regina Maria Theatre has the honor to invite you to the conference organized within the framework of the Arcadia Children’s Theatre Festival – TRADITIONAL SHADOW THEATRE FROM TURKEY – THE KARAGOZ CHARACTER. The event will take place on Monday, October 6, 2014, at the Arcadia Hall. The conference is chaired by two distinguished guests, the most famous artists of shadow theatre: Cengiz Özek and Stefan Andreas Apolon Kokkinos Carelius, both laureates of dozens of awards and invited to over 100 international festivals.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – ANOTHER SNOW-WHITE PERFORMANCE IN FITO!

The organizers of the Arcadia Children's Theater Festival announce to the audience that, due to the high demand for tickets, the show Snow White will have one more performance. Scheduled for Sunday, September 2, at 11:00, the show no longer has any seats, with tickets already selling out today. Therefore, Snow White will also be performed from 09:00 in the morning. The price of a ticket is 10 lei for children and 15 lei for adults. In total, there are 140 seats in the Arcadia Hall.

ARCADIA CHILDREN'S THEATRE FESTIVAL, 2ND EDITION, 2014

Oradea International Theatre Festival – Children's Theatre Festival 2nd Edition (September 20 – October 12, 2014)

Organizers: Regina Maria Theater, FITO Cultural Foundation and Bihor County Council. With financial support from the Oradea City Hall, AFCN and UNITER.

The 2nd edition of the "Arcadia" Children's Theater Festival took place between September 20 and October 12, 2014 and brought together under its aegis a variety of cultural offerings, which were welcomed by both the little ones and those who have preserved the innocence of childhood in their souls.

The novelty of this edition was the children's theater performances supported by the international companies Karromato from the Czech Republic and Kukla Istanbul from Turkey, as well as the involvement in the project of important theater schools in the country, which presented their own productions, thus giving them the opportunity to play in front of a large audience. Also, another attraction of the event were the street puppet shows supported by the PurAnima Bucharest Association, which skillfully initiated passers-by into the universe of puppet theater.
