BRODL ON TOUR IN VIENNA, AT THE PYGMALION THEATER
The Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to announce that the show BORDEL by Gabriel Barylli, directed by Ţino Geirun, will be performed in Vienna, according to the partnership signed with the Pygmalion Theatre in the Austrian capital. This is a first Romanian-Austrian co-production, which is part of a long-term collaboration project between the Oradea and Viennese theatres. The show is scheduled for February 15 and 16, 2013, as follows: on February 15, the role of Maria will be played by Julia Prock-Schauer, a well-known and appreciated actress of the Austrian public, and on February 16, the actress of the Iosif Vulcan Troupe, Georgia Căprărin will play the same role. The role of Martin will be played by the actor Daniel Vulcu. The artistic direction, scenography and musical illustration are by Ţino Geirun.
The show "Bordel" is not the first performance on the Viennese stage, nor on the Oradea stage. It had its official premiere on July 12, 2012 in Vienna and was presented on September 29, 2012 at the International Short Theatre Festival in Oradea, and since then there have been several performances at the Regina Maria Theatre. Each time the show was played to a closed house, which makes us consider it a real success both among the public and the critics.
