CASTING PUPPET ACTORS FOR A SHOW
CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT The Regina Maria Theatre in Oradea, Arcadia Troupe (puppet troupe) announces the CASTING for the show RED RIDING RIDING, directed by Ms. Maria Mierluț. We are looking for 2 young people (boy and girl), with specialized studies in the art of puppetry. The casting will take place on March 1, 2014, at 12 noon, at the Arcadia Hall of the Theatre (Black Eagle Passage), Vasile Alecsandri Street, no. 8, Oradea, Bihor County.
REQUIREMENTS: · maximum age 30 years; · specialized studies in puppetry (bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent studies); · updated CV, with photo, portfolio of roles, sent by February 25 to the email address:[email protected] or by mail to the above-mentioned address; · interview on March 1, for which candidates are asked to prepare: a monologue, a moment of manipulation (you can bring your own dolls), a poem or fable, a song. The collaboration with the selected ones may be extended to other performances of the Arcadia Troupe. On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
