COLLOQUIUM: SHORT THEATRE – BETWEEN DISABILITY AND PERFORMANCE

REGINA MARIA Theatre and the International Short Theatre Festival Oradea 2012 invite you on Thursday, September 27, at 11:00, in the theatre foyer, to the colloquium SHORT THEATRE – BETWEEN DISABILITY AND PERFORMANCE. This event is organized in collaboration with the International Association of Theatre Critics – Romanian Section and TEATRUL AZI Magazine and will be moderated by Ms. Ludmila Patlanjoglu, theatre critic, director of the “Theatre Studies” Department within UNATC ILCaragiale in Bucharest and by Ms. Florica Ichim, theatre critic, editor-in-chief of TEATRUL AZI magazine.

Having as a topic of debate the short theater, a genre often considered minor, but which has made a career in the history of dramaturgy and has imposed a series of important theater authors over time, this colloquium will attempt to draw the lines of strength of the short play, but also its neuralgic points, at a dramaturgical and performance level, it will discuss the attitude of theater creators towards this concentrated form of dramaturgy, but also about the possible positive impact on the contemporary audience, educated in the era of video clips and essentialized forms of culture.

The colloquium SHORT THEATRE – BETWEEN DISABILITY AND PERFORMANCE will enjoy the participation of important personalities of Oradea's theatrical life, former and current directors, actors, literary secretaries, but also creators and theater critics from Bucharest. Among them, we mention Mircea Bradu, Eugen Ţugulea, Ion Abrudan, Elisabeta Pop, Daniel Vulcu, Victoria Balint, Radu Macrinici, Lia Bugnar, Claudiu Groza, Doru Mareş, Ion Parhon, Monica Andronescu, Szabo K. Istvan, Mariana Ciolan, Raluca Radulescu and the actors of the Regina Maria Theater.

We look forward to seeing you!
