AWARDS OF THE 18TH EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL SHORT THEATRE FESTIVAL

The jury of the Oradea Short Theatre Festival, consisting of:

President: Prof. Dr. LUDMILA PATLANJOGLU – theater critic, Director of the “Theatre Studies” Department at UNATC “IL Caragiale” Bucharest

Members:

CRISTIAN HADJI-CULEA – director, General Director of the “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre, Iași

Professor STEFANIA CENEAN – set designer, Director of the “Scenographic Art” Department at UNATC “IL Caragiale” Bucharest

MARIUS ZARAFESCU – theatre expert, Director of the “Performing Arts, Cinematography, Audiovisual” Directorate of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage

It decided to award the following prizes:

LIA DOGARU for the performance A STORMY NIGHT by IL Caragiale (Marin Sorescu National Theatre, Craiova)

  • Best Director Award:

BOBI PRICOP for the performance GAMES IN THE BACKYARD by Edna Mazya (ACT Theatre Bucharest)

  • Best Actress Award:

is awarded Ex aequo:

CERASELA IOSIFESCU for the roles of Veta (the show A WINTER NIGHT by IL Caragiale – Marin Sorescu National Theatre, Craiova) and Anette Reille (The God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza – Nottara Theatre Bucharest)

IOANA MANCIU for the roles of Dvori and the Prosecutor (the show GAMES IN THE BACKYARD by Edna Mazya – ACT Theatre Bucharest)

  • Best Actor Award:

The "Iosif Vulcan" troupe of the Regina Maria Theater in Oradea presents on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 7:00 PM, at the Great Hall, the premiere of the show "An Enemy of the People", adaptation by Thomas Ostermeier and Florian Borchmeyer after Henrik Ibsen, directed by Radu Iacoban.

The cast consists of: Alina Leonte (Katharina Stockmann), Richard Balint (Peter Stockmann), Răzvan Vicoveanu (Thomas Stockmann), Gabriela Codrea (Nina Aslaksen), Elvira Rîmbu (Marta Kill), Alin Stanciu (Hovstad) and Tudor Manea (Billing).
