We are pleased to announce a new premiere of the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre, namely the puppet show SNOW WHITE (theatrical fairy tale by Traian Savinescu, based on the Brothers Grimm). The premiere will take place on Saturday, September 22, starting at 11 am, at the newly renovated hall of the Arcadia Troupe.

The show will resume on September 27 (show organized for schools) and on September 30.

After many years, we are waiting for you at a special show, made entirely with puppets.

SNOW-WHITE AND…

…The seven dwarfs, the palace's squires, reminisce over tea about funny or sad events from the time when the king's daughter, Snow-White, grew up before their eyes, chosen like a flower from heaven.

As in the mother's fervent prayer raised to heaven, from the pricked finger and drops of blood dripping into the white snow, the child was incarnated. From

Coming into the world as an orphan, the princess was loved, adored and eventually adopted by a group of dwarfs (the seven of them, to be exact!), which I mentioned here.

Envious, evil, and dark at heart, the new empress-stepmother constantly teased little Snow White, unleashed her hounds of hatred on her, just to get rid of the little girl she even "mirrored," her confidant praising her, calling her "beautiful.".

Tooth the Jester, the Nurse, Dandelion, Bellows the Blacksmith or Donut, the Scissors the Forger and Cage the Hunter stand in the way of the Stepmother, the Master Witch, preventing her from harming the child, the kind-hearted Alba.

In the dark room, in front of the mirror that reads secrets in seawater, with spells concocted by her, by the Queen, terrible visions congeal: poisonous belts and hairpins sprout from snakes and spiders, and ripe apples are bathed in venom; and all one hand on the girl towards death. … But…

The clumsy-prince-with-almond-eyes-and-a-drowsy-crook, riding on the philosophically neighing-Horse-in-a-wild-place, brings winter to our dwarfs' house, brings the sleeping-in-the-coffin-Prince back to life, and they all fly to the castle to party.

Of course, before the end, as the story demands, the Evil One (in our case, the Evil One!), that is, the Mistress, will also receive her punishment. And while she, dancing on the embers, is consumed from this world, at the Wedding, many other people are spending time next to the happy bride and groom, playing with fire (both adults and dwarfs). Let's not forget the Horse-of-the-Wicked-With-His-Lucky-Horseshoe and the saddle I rode on….yours, long-gone…in love forever with Snow White…
