The Regina Maria Theater, in partnership with the Eclectica Cultural Association and with the support of Transilvania Film and TIFF, invites you on November 2 to the Transilvania Hall for a unique event – “Eclectic Halloween”. The program, which will take place throughout the day, includes interactive and creative activities for children, and in the evening brings a dash of adrenaline with a horror film screening dedicated to adults.

Children will have the opportunity to learn how to overcome their fears and express their creativity in a unique way, alongside the actors of the Regina Maria Theater. The activities are designed to stimulate the imagination of the little ones, transforming them into the heroes of their own Halloween stories. These activities will take place between 10:00 and 18:00 and are structured as follows:

Game: Story Characters
It starts with the game InfiniTheatric, which is intended for children and adults alike and includes 72 challenges grouped into six thematic chapters. Through these "challenges", players develop skills specific to the art of acting, but also useful in everyday life. Children are expected to give free rein to their imagination, stepping into a realm of fantasy, where they get to give life to their favorite characters, under the careful guidance of actress Mirela Niță Lupu, one of the creators of this game, and the charismatic actor George Dometi.

Schedule: 10:00 – 11:30 and 14:00 – 15:30

Workshop: Fierce Faces
The "Scary Faces" workshop is another activity that will stimulate children's creativity! Together with Adela Lazar and Cosmin Petrut, they will explore the technique of facial expressions and will have a face painting session in which each participant will be able to choose to borrow the face of some of the most famous creepy characters. From ghosts and vampires, to scary creatures – everyone can choose their own look!

Schedule: 11:40 – 12:50 and 15:40 – 16:50

Workshop: Friendly Monsters
In the "Friendly Monsters" workshop, we will turn horror into humor and fear into giggles. Children will draw their own "scary monster" and, with the help of their colleagues and actors Georgia Căprărin, Lucia Rogoz, Consuela Egyed and Armanca Serac, they will transform these creatures into funny and colorful friends.

Schedule: 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM and 5:00 PM – 5:50 PM

Film screening for adults (7:00 PM)

The evening will bring to the fore a special film for horror lovers: „The Innocents” (De Uskyldige), directed by Eskil Vogt. This Norwegian psychological thriller was released in 2021 and has conquered numerous international film festivals, impressing both audiences and critics. The story focuses on a group of children who discover, during the summer holidays, that they possess mysterious powers. What starts as innocent play gradually takes on dark valences, and the children are pushed to dangerous limits. The film explores themes such as lost innocence and latent evil, creating a tense and suspenseful atmosphere.

„"The Innocents" won the Best Screenplay award at the Sitges International Film Festival and was nominated for the European Film Awards, receiving praise for its precise direction, child actor performances, and the way it manages to blend supernatural elements with gripping realism. It is a must-see for fans of psychological thrillers.
