In these last days of the season, the Regina Maria Theater is undertaking intense activity, about which you will learn more below.
1. Sibiu International Theatre Festival Performance Scholarship
A delegation from the Regina Maria Theatre is present these days at the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (May 25 – June 3) at the Sibiu Show Exchange. The Sibiu Show Exchange (May 31 – June 2) represents the only platform for presenting cultural acts in our country, bringing together artists and managers who present their show offerings, seek solutions for promoting cultural exchange and forge partnerships.
2. Arcadia Troupe, present at the "Beautiful Girls, Good Fairies and Ilene Cosânzene" Festival at the Ion. D. Sîrbu Dramatic Theater from Petroşani
On Children's Day, the Arcadia Troupe will perform the 3D show, 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA (artistic direction: Radu Dinulescu) as part of the Festival organized by the Ion D. Sîrbu Dramatic Theater in Petroşani. The show will take place on Friday, June 1, at 11:00 AM, in the Theater's main hall.
3. THE WIZARD OF OZ – free performance, on Children's Day, in the Children's Town
On Friday, June 1, from 10:30, children are expected in the Open-Air Amphitheater at the Rogerius Children's Town for a special performance of THE WIZARD OF OZ (artistic direction by Dan Mirea). The story of Dorothy, Toto and the Great Oz will delight all children and adults alike.

Premiere of the show "The Awakening"„
The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. The show is specifically dedicated to the adolescent audience, but is also addressed to parents, teachers and all those interested in how the digital world influences identity formation and relationships between generations.
