JANUARY PREMIERE: LET'S SHARE HANDS!
The "Crişana" Professional Artistic Ensemble invites you on Sunday, January 24, from 7:00 PM, to the Great Hall of the Regina Maria Theater to celebrate together through the extraordinary concert "Let's join hands" an event of great national importance - the Little Union or the Union of the Romanian Principalities under Alexandru Ioan Cuza on January 24, 1859.
The hosts of the event are none other than Alexandru Ioan Cuza and Moş Ion Roată, played by the beloved actors Andrian Locovei and George Voinese, who will have distinguished guests from the old Romanian provinces: Wallachia and Moldavia. Together with the artists from Bihor, these they will shake hands in a big concert and will delight us with pieces of folklore from every region of the country.
Among the guests are: Gheorghe Roşoga, Steliana Sima – representatives of Wallachia, and Ion Paladi, Viorica Macovei – representatives of Moldova, who will perform alongside talented artists from Bihor Violeta Gherman, Nicoleta Rab, Florina Puşcău, Ana Maria Gal, Simona Costin, Otilia Haragoş Seghedi, Cornelia Covaciu, Voichiţa Mihoc, Leontin Ciucur. They will be accompanied by the orchestra of the Professional Artistic Ensemble „Crişana”, conducted by maestro Adrian Miescu.
The price of a ticket is 30 lei in the central boxes, 25 lei in the side boxes, 20 lei in the hall and 15 lei in the balcony. Tickets are on sale at the theater's Ticket Agency from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 13:00. On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
