SMALL OR BIG IN BUCHAREST
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is invited to participate with the show "Small or Big?" at the 2nd edition of the event "TIC PITIC - Small Size Days", an event dedicated to the youngest spectators: children aged between 0 and 6, organized in Romania by the Ion Creangă Theatre in Bucharest.
TIC PITIC- Small size days is an annual event, which takes place simultaneously in many cities around the world, at the end of January, with the aim of creating a unique global event. This year the activities are held simultaneously in 30 theaters, on 3 continents, including the Ion Creangă Theater in Romania. The program is part of an extended activity of the project Small size, performing arts for early years, a large project, funded by the European Union, which currently includes 17 partners from 15 different countries, such as: France, Spain, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Finland, Italy, Slovenia, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Austria and Romania. The main objective of the project is to spread the performing arts to children ages 1-6, while buildingANDI will move you.ANDcultural center focused on promoting children's rights to art ANDand culture.
Activities carried out during the event TIC PITIC- Small size days include, in addition to those dedicated to children between the ages of 0 and 6, workshops for artists and workshops for parents, thus marking an essential objective of the project, namely the development of a program Mentoring in the field Early education.
For Arcadia Troupe, participating in this world-wide event is an opportunity to initiate the project of Mentoring in the field Early Education together with the Ion Creangă Theater. The show "Small or Big?" meets the requirements of this program, being addressed to children aged between 0 and 3 years and aiming to captivate and offer young spectators the opportunity to enter the playful world of theater, starting from the principle that art has no age.
In Oradea, the show "Small or Big?" was a real success among the youngest spectators of our city who came with their young parents. The youngest of the children was not even 6 months old! Anyone who wants to see or re-see the performance for babies has the opportunity Saturday, January 23, from 11:00, at the Regina Maria Theater, in the Lodge Foyer. Tickets are on sale at the theater's Ticket Agency, Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 19:00, and on weekends from 10:00 to 13:00.
