“MY PUPPET THEATRE” COMPETITION
On the occasion World Puppet Theatre Day, which is celebrated every year on March 21st, The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre has come up with an extraordinary plan, namely a contest that challenges young spectators to become creators and actors themselves, called "MY PUPPET THEATRE".
All children between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to accept the challenge of swapping roles, so that this time they are the ones who take the stage and bring a story to life. To do this, they only need to use their creativity, as they have to make their own puppets, and their imagination, as, with the help of their new friends, they have to present a skit of a maximum of 5 minutes. The skits can be fragments of fairy tales, stories, poems, fables, songs, as well as their own creations, and participants can present either individually or in teams.
To make puppets, puppet artists recommend the following objects: socks, cut-out figurines, costumed wooden spoons, pet toys, packaging, paper, textiles, vegetables, fruits, plasticine, any household objects that can miraculously transform into characters.
The jury will be made up of actors from the Arcadia Troupe, and participants will be rewarded according to their talent and ingenuity.
Places are limited, so we urge you to register as soon as possible at the following email address: [email protected], at the Ticket Agency of the Regina Maria Theater or at the agency's phone number: 0259/440.742.
