NEWS FROM THE BAND ARCADIA
We are pleased to announce three important news regarding the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theater:
Premiere on Sunday, March 24, the puppet show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (directed by Florian Silaghi) is being performed to a closed house. Tickets were sold out on Wednesday afternoon, although the show was scheduled to be performed twice (at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.). We thank the audience for their interest in this wonderful show! The next performance will be on April 14, at 11 a.m.
On Wednesday, March 20, we celebrated the International Day of Theatre for Children and Youth – an occasion on which the Gutenberg Bookstore, in partnership with the Arcadia Troupe, organized a meeting between the troupe's actors and the third-grade students from the "Iuliu Maniu" Greek Catholic High School. The Arcadia troupe was represented by actors Marlena Prigoreanu and Florin Stan, who brought, to the delight of the little ones, puppets from the troupe's performances, which they presented, then giving the children the opportunity to play with them.
Thursday, March 21, is World Puppet Theatre Day, which is why the Arcadia Troupe will offer a preview of the show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST on Friday, March 22. This preview was organized for primary school students of the Pedagogical High School.
