Premiere of "Trombonel - The Snow Thief", a show dedicated to the winter holidays
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to invite you to the premiere of the show "Trombonel – Hoțul Zăpezii", by Sînziana Popescu, directed by Florian Silaghi, which will take place on Sunday, December 10, at 11:00 AM, at the Great Hall. The show, organized on the occasion of the winter holidays, is the last premiere of this year, a fact that materialized by reserving the entire hall in a very short time. Therefore, spectators who were unable to purchase tickets in advance have the opportunity to learn the story of Trombonel at the second performance, scheduled on the same day at 1:00 PM. Sînziana Popescu, the author of the text, is a well-known figure in the literary world and many of her writings have been elevated to stage status, being staged in several representative theaters in the country.
The text that gave birth to the show "Trombonel - The Snow Thief" is a successful interweaving of elements from classic winter holiday stories and primary notions of coexistence with the environment, and its goal is to entertain and educate both. The action is triggered by the fact that Trombonel, one of Santa Claus' elves, was fired for evading toys, and now he wants revenge. Thus, he begins to manipulate people, urging them to waste and neglect, trying to induce an anti-ecological mentality in them. What is happening seems to make no sense, but the elf's goal is a well-defined one and his plan is calculated in detail: if people pollute and accentuate the effects of global warming, the glaciers will melt and soon there will be no more snow at all. Therefore, Santa Claus will no longer have a place to live and, what's more, he will no longer have a way to transport gifts to children. Young viewers over the age of 4 are invited to take part in the adventure in which Santa's two helpers, Rudolf and Bell, embark, assisting them in their attempt to thwart Trombonel's evil plan. They will also learn what the role of the kendama and the fidget spinner is in saving the planet. The set design is by Csüri Emese, the music is composed by Dorin Griguță, and the cast includes the actors: Andrei Fazecaș, Igor Lungu and Consuela Egyed. The team is completed by Patrick Negrean, a volunteer of the Regina Maria Theater, and by the four lucky children, Igna Maria Alexia, Bulzan Iulia Maria, Vulpe Luca and Egri Rareș, who won the casting organized by the Arcadia Troupe for the roles of "Kendama" and "Spinner". Shortly after the two performances of the show "Trombonel - Hoțul Zăpezii", the actors of the Arcadia Troupe will go to Vienna on December 17th where, at the Pygmalion Theater, they will delight young spectators with the beloved show "Cinderella". And the Iosif Vulcan Troupe of the Regina Maria Theater will go to Zalău on December 11th with the extraordinary show "Profu` de franceză", with which it managed to conquer the hearts of the people of Beiuș a few days ago.
Tickets are on sale at the Theatre Ticket Agency from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 13:00 or one hour before each performance.
