Press release | Regina Maria Theatre heads back to festivals

The beginning of the season at the Regina Maria Theater marks the start of the participation of the two theater troupes, the "Arcadia" Troupe and the "Iosif Vulcan" Troupe, in specialized festivals in the country.

The Arcadia troupe is already on its way to the 6th edition of the "Comic 7 B" International Independent Theater Festival in Buzău, where it will perform the show "The Boy Who Could Bite His Nose", by Alex Moldovan, directed by Selma Dragoș, choreographed by Smaranda Găbudeanu, on September 24, from 6:00 PM, in the Amphitheater in the Youth Park.

From Buzău, they will head to Timișoara, where they will perform the nonverbal shadow play 1+1=1 on September 27, from 6:00 PM, at the "Merlin" Children and Youth Theater, as part of the "Under the Mask of Merlin" International Animation Festival.

The Iosif Vulcan troupe is invited with the show "Genul acustativ", text and direction: Mimi Brănescu, to two festivals: the Young Theatre Week in Buzău, where it will be performed on Friday, October 1, from 7:00 PM, at the "George Ciprian" Theatre, and to the first edition of the "Dialog" International Theatre and Performing Arts Festival in Brăila, where it will be performed on October 3, from 6:00 PM, at the Great Hall of the "Maria Filotti" Theatre.

We wish our colleagues much success and are convinced that they will conquer the audience wherever they go.

The people of Oradea will also enjoy a lot of theatrical surprises in October! The program can be consulted on the Regina Maria Theater website and on the Facebook pages of the two companies, and tickets can be purchased from the theater agency (open from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00-14:00 or one hour before the performances at the Main Hall), online on Eventim.ro or one hour before the performances on site (within the limit of available seats).
