PUPPET EXHIBITION AT ARCADIA HALL!

As part of the European project "Itinerances", the Belfort Puppet Theatre presents a puppet exhibition in Oradea, between May 20 and 31, 2014, between 10:00 and 17:00.

They are exhibited in 10 showcases: 62 dolls and marionettes, 32 Chinese shadows, books and posters. The exhibition also contains 5 Guignol-type castle theaters and 10 explanatory panels. You can see old collectible dolls over 100 years old, as well as newer ones from: France, Belgium, Greece, Russia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Italy, Holland, Germany…

The Regina Maria Theatre is the main organizer of the European Project "Itinerances" within the Culture Programme 2007 - 2013. The project will take place in Oradea, Brussels, Belfort (Fr) and Sobeslav (Cz). Apart from this exhibition which will also be present in the other cities mentioned, other activities will take place, workshops, creation of a show with 3D images and puppets, tours in the 4 countries.

In October, the premiere of the show "One Thousand and One Borders" will take place with actors and technicians from the Arcadia Troupe, a show written by Radu Dinulescu and directed by Luis Montoto from the Czech Republic and benefiting from the contribution of numerous other artists from the 4 countries.

The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. The show is specifically dedicated to the adolescent audience, but is also addressed to parents, teachers and all those interested in how the digital world influences identity formation and relationships between generations.

Welcome to TRM Theatre @Night, the experience that gives you the opportunity to discover the Regina Maria Theater from a different perspective: not just as a spectator, but as an explorer of a hidden world.

Tonight, the theater opens its doors differently.

With the help of this audio guide, you will be able to walk the route prepared especially for the event on your own and discover stories about the building's architecture, the history of the Oradea theater, the backstage spaces, the stage mechanisms and the small details that the audience usually does not have the opportunity to observe.

From the foyer and the Great Hall, to the boxes, balcony, and the spaces that support the magic behind a show, this tour invites you to look at the theater not just as a place for performances, but as a living organism, in which every corner has a story.
