SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPATION IN FITN2 ARAD!
The Regina Maria Theater participated on Thursday, May 15, at the International New Theater Festival in Arad, with the highly successful show LEONCE AND LENA (script by Mihai Măniuțiu and Ada Milea, after Georg Buchner).
The second edition of the International New Theatre Festival in Arad takes place between May 9-18 and includes the newest theatre performances in Romania (among which we mention the Focus category "Radu Afrim", with 4 performances present in Arad, as well as street or pub performances).
The Arad audience enjoyed the show of the Regina Maria Theater, rewarding the performance that took place in the Great Hall of the "Ioan Slavici" Classical Theater with long applause.
For the Regina Maria Theater, the trip to Ploiești in June follows, also with the show LEONCE AND LENA, which participates in the Festival. Directorial meetings, organized by the "Toma Caragiu" Theater.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
