PUPPET THEATRE WORKSHOP – FOR SCHOOLS
The Itinerances project continues. According to the programming of the European-funded project, puppet theater workshops will take place in Bihor County, whose protagonists will be students aged between 10 and 14 from various schools in the city and the county.
The workshop series will begin on Sunday, January 18, 2015. From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Arcadia Troupe headquarters on Vasile Alecsandri Street, 20 children will learn to stage a show. The workshop will be led by director Luis Montoto, with puppets and sets made in China.
The activity is part of the "Itinerances" project, with the Regina Maria Theatre being the main organizer along with the Belfort Marionette Theatre (France), the Karromato Sobeslav Company (Czech Republic) and Charles Kleinberg Production – Brussels (Belgium).
The 20 available places were filled within the first hours after the event was announced. Participation is free.
The workshops continue until the end of the month according to the following schedule, according to the established partnerships:

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
