QUEEN MARIA THEATRE AT THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL "ATELIER" BAIA MARE – Portrait in the Workshop
The Regina Maria Theater participated between June 10 and 13 at the "Atelier" International Theater Festival in Baia Mare with the performances "Leonce and Lena", screenplay by Mihai Măniuțiu and Ada Milea after Georg Büchner, artistic direction by Mihai Măniuțiu and "Hut", by Aiat Fayez, directed by Tudor Lucanu, enjoying, moreover, a special status: a portrait was dedicated to the Regina Maria Theatre in the festival.
The Atelier Festival opened on June 10 with the show "Leonce and Lena", which made a perfect debut, full of energy and good mood. The audience's reaction is impossible to put into words, applauding for minutes at the end of the performance and happily humming the choruses of the songs.
The show "Baraca" was performed on June 12, being part of the festival's competition, in the "Experiment Day" section, a experiment successful, rewarded with applause and appreciation. We are waiting with excitement and impatience for the jury's decision, which we will find out on Sunday, June 18, at 9:00 PM, when the awards ceremony and the closing of the festival will take place.
The appreciation that the Regina Maria Theater enjoyed at the oldest international theater festival in Romania honors us and is further proof of the value and respect that we have managed to earn both locally and nationally.
Congratulations to the team and thank you to the people of Băișoara for every wonderful theatrical moment spent together!
