QUEEN MARIA THEATRE DAYS: MAY 22-25, 2014

The Regina Maria Theatre Days are in their second edition. The theatre event showcases the most successful productions of the 2013-2014 season and is dedicated to the public and theatre critics from all over the country. Every evening, from 7:00 PM, in the Great Hall, Oradea actors will perform in dramas, comedies and musicals.

On the first evening, in May 22, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., the show is scheduled Leonce and Lena, a full, lively musical show. A tasty comedy, a political satire or just a love story mixed with weed and youthful wanderings, a script by Mihai Măniuţiu and Ada Milea based on the play by Georg Buchner. Or… for some… a great concert, composed head to toe by Ada Milea. A show worth seeing more than just once!!!

On the second evening, in May 23, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., The Regina Maria Theatre presents the show Those who don't forget…. A devastating spectacle, which leaves deep traces, but whose purpose is precisely this. Hence the title: Those who don't forget... A theater performance about the communist reality, which creates images that are hard to forget for a lifetime. Which ultimately forces you to assume your forgetfulness, to light a candle and then, to move forward, living and appreciating freedom.  Those who don't forget... obtained Special Jury Prize at the Short Theatre Festival – FITO 2013 – Oradea.

On the third evening, in May 24, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., the show is scheduled Comet. A tragicomedy full of courage, a story about couples, about happiness, about hidden miseries and a lot of humor. A modern show, which takes you through cold and hot showers, in front of which, if you let yourself be open, it makes you think and stirs your mind and soul. The direction belongs to Radu-Alexandru Nica, the choreography is by Florin Fieroiu, and the music is specially created by Alex Halka.

On the last evening, in May 25, 2014, all from the hour 19.00, the actors of the Regina Maria Theater present the musical producers. A musical that needs no introduction, a musical that made history on Broadway. A comedy in which you laugh continuously, from which you leave with a good mood that will last you the whole year. Mel Brooks' play is directed in Oradea by Halasi Imre, and the choreography belongs to Andras Lorant. A grandiose show that shines!
