TOURS AND FESTIVALS IN OCTOBER
October is a very busy month for the Regina Maria Theater in Oradea, which will embark on tours and festivals, with the newest productions!
The Arcadia troupe was invited to participate with the show BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (directed by Florian Silaghi) at the "Povesti" International Theater Festival, on October 3, 2013, at the "Prichindel" Puppet Theater in Alba Iulia.
From there, the show will also stop at the International Children's Theater Festival "100, 1,000, 1,000,000 Stories", on October 5, 2013, at the "Ion Creangă Theater" in Bucharest.
Between October 7-9, 2013, the Iosif Vulcan Troupe will go on tour with the shows THE WIZARD OF OZ and AT "IUNION", THE HORSEMAN! in Satu Mare (October 7 – at the North Theatre of Satu Mare), Baia Mare (October 8 – at the Baia Mare Municipal Theatre) and Zalău (at the Trade Unions' Culture House).
Towards the end of the month, we are back on the road again because the show produced by the Regina Maria Theatre in the 2012-2013 season, TWELFTH NIGHT (by William Shakespeare, directed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu), has been selected to participate in the XXIII Edition of the National Theatre Festival, which takes place between October 25 and November 3, 2013 in Bucharest. The Regina Maria Theatre show will participate in the Theatre of Tomorrow section; two performances will be held, on October 27 and 28.

The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
