TRM ACADEMY 2025
The Regina Maria Theater opens its doors again TRM ACADEMY, a program dedicated to all those who want to get to know themselves better through art, to overcome their limits and rediscover the joy of being in front of others.
Between November 3 and December 14, 2025, participants are invited to join one of the three training modules personal development through theater, coordinated by professional theater actors.
TRM Academy is not just a series of courses, but a complete learning experience. self-knowledge, communication and expression. Through improvisation, interpretation, movement and text-based exercises, each participant discovers how they can transform emotions, curiosity and vulnerability into creative force.
Those who register can choose between:
IMPRO (+16 years)

Leave control aside and enter a game of spontaneity!
The improvisation course is a safe space where you learn to react creatively, listen to your instincts, and turn any situation into a story. Through acting exercises, team games, and moments of stage improvisation, you discover how to express your emotions naturally, how to trust yourself, and how to authentically connect with others.
Ideal for: anyone who wants to develop their courage, communication, stage presence, or simply have fun and discover themselves differently.
Text interpretation (11–17 years old)
Coordinators: Anca Sigmirean, Lucia Rogoz and Giorgia Căprărin
A course dedicated to young people who want to transform their emotions into stories and find their voice.
Through diction exercises, improvisation, text analysis and stage play, participants discover the joy of playing characters and expressing deep ideas in a creative way. It is an experience that helps them develop empathy, imagination, confidence and team spirit.
Ideal for: teenagers passionate about theater, but also for those who want to improve their expression, presence and self-confidence.
Text interpretation (+18 years)
Coordinators: Ioana Dragoș Gajdo and Mirela Nita Lupu
An in-depth workshop dedicated to adults who want to rediscover themselves through art.
The course offers exercises in text analysis, working on emotion, rhythm and intention, as well as stage communication exercises. Participants learn how to give meaning to words, how to express inner truths and how to authentically connect with the audience and with themselves.
Ideal for: curious adults, professionals from various fields, amateur actors or anyone who wants to free themselves from blockages and explore theater as a form of self-knowledge.
Each course has one meeting per week, being built under the careful guidance of experienced actors and educators, in a relaxed, creative and energetic environment.
At the end of the period, depending on the students' progress, they will have the opportunity to showcase their work in front of an audience, in a symbolic stage presentation.
Participation fee: 300 lei/person/course
Period: November 3 – December 14, 2025 (1 meeting/week)

The Regina Maria Theatre announces the premiere of the show "Deșteptarea", a contemporary text by Doru Vatavlui, directed by Bobi Pricop, which will take place on January 17 and 18, 2026, from 7:00 PM, in the theatre's Great Hall. On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
