BEAUTY AND THE BEAST IS PERFORMED AT THE EUROMARIONETTE FESTIVAL
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to announce its participation in the International Animation Art Festival "EUROMARIONETE", which takes place this period (May 12-19) at the Puppet Theatre in Arad.
The show that Arcadia Troupe is participating in is none other than the most recent premiere, which enjoyed great success among Oradea children, namely BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! The story of the beautiful but especially brave Bella, who despite all the dangers, chooses to save her father from the heavy punishment given by a monster, a real Beast!
The EuroMarionete Festival has gathered important bands in Arad over time, creating a special prestige, as evidenced by the interest among the public. This year's edition is "a better version represented on Romanian texts", with "very interesting related elements".
The festival began on Sunday, May 12, at 11 a.m., with the story "Greuceanu", a performance by the Marionette Troupe of the Ioan Slavici Classical Theater in Arad.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
