The show reflects both an initiative-filled direction and a stylization of the sets, preserving the specificity of the place and the manifestation of the heroes, the picturesque Moldavian, in which the wonderful songs and games in the music of George Enescu resound. […] Rodica Schuller managed to present the character to us with great sensitivity and humor. Santa Claus, who faces the mockery of the entire imperial court, going to the petit for their son "the piglet" - comes to life through the talented interpretation of Simion Tomescu. The emperor, presented and outlined with artistic mastery by Petru Simion, indicates the contradiction between rulers and subjects, and the empress, the proud, selfish and cunning woman, is presented to us with special acting skill by Aurelia Laurian, Mădălina, their daughter, ready to sacrifice herself to save the kingdom, willingly resigned to spend her life in the poor shack of the Granny, loving Gheorghe, miraculously transformed from a pig into a handsome young man, lives with vigor and talent in the interpretation of the actress Maria Mierluţ. Gheorghe and the Piglet delights us with warmth and sensitivity, through the broad humor of the characters.
