The Regina Maria Theater supports the humanitarian campaign for refugees from Ukraine
The Regina Maria Theater joins the initiative initiated by the Oradea Community Foundation with the aim of supporting Ukrainians who will be accommodated in the coming period in Oradea and nearby areas, by facilitating access to useful information for those willing to donate and, at the same time, by urging the theater-loving public to get involved in this cause.
Thus, throughout the month of March, the campaign image will be displayed in the foyer at the entrance to the performance halls (Arcadia Hall and the Great Hall). HELP FOR UKRAINE #facembine, together with a QR code that directs to the Oradea Community Foundation website where viewers can find the donation form.
Those who wish to donate can also use PayPal or can donate directly to the account of the Oradea Community Foundation - IBAN account RO35 BACX 0000 0021 8191 4001 opened at Unicredit Bank, with the mention in the payment order "Aid for Ukraine".
Spectators who wish to donate basic non-perishable foods, such as canned goods, oil, flour, etc., baby diapers of all sizes, blankets and pillows, as well as clothes can drop them off at the collection points announced by the Oradea Community Foundation:
- Crișul Store, 2nd floor – headquarters of the Oradea Community Foundation, entrance from Nicolae Jiga, MONDAY – SATURDAY between 10:00 – 20:00
- Crișul store in the basement - Carrefour Market entrance from the escalators, MONDAY - SATURDAY between 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM and SUNDAY between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

On the 50th anniversary of the first theater festival in Oradea – Short Theatre Week, the Regina Maria Theatre announces the selection of the 10th edition of the Oradea International Theatre Festival (FITO), financed by the Bihor County Council, which will take place between 11–20 September 2026. This year's anniversary edition brings to the fore a broad and diverse program, built around the two already established sections: the 28th edition of the Short Theatre Festival and the 6th edition of the Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival, which resumes after an 8-year break. The program of performances will be supported by a series of other events that will transform FITO into a meeting place between artists, professionals in the field of performing arts and the public.
