MINI FEST – theater days for the youngest spectators in Oradea

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre, in partnership with the Ion Creangă Theatre in Bucharest (www.teatrulioncreanga.ro), organizes, between January 27-29, 2017, the first edition of "Mini Fest - theater days for the youngest spectators", an event dedicated to the youngest spectators: children aged between 0 and 6 years.

Held with the aim of promoting the importance and benefits of Early Childhood Education through theater, "Mini Fest" offers sensory stories tailored to the little ones, as well as related activities dedicated to adults. All activities in this edition will be held in the Studio Arcadia Hall.

This event takes place within the framework of the „Small Size Days”, an extended activity of the international project Small Size, performing arts for early years, funded under the Creative Europe Programme (2014-2020). The annual activity, organized on the last weekend of January, took place for the first time in 2015, in numerous cities around the world (from Helsinki to Madrid, from London to Salzburg, from Bucharest to Mexico). Oradea entered the map of this international event, thanks to the mentoring partnership concluded between the Regina Maria Theatre and the Ion Creangă Theatre in 2016.

The motto of "Small Size Days" is The arts do not Þnot because of age, but out of curiosity!.

The festival will feature four performances created especially for the youngest spectators, two of which are by the Arcadia Troupe, one by the Lilliput Troupe of the Szigligeti Szinhaz Theatre, and one invited from Cluj-Napoca, from the Reactor Association of Creation and Experiment, the Mini Reactor platform.

We will also organize an event for adults: on January 27th at 6:00 PM, the conference "Early Education through Theater" for parents and teachers will take place. The conference will be held by psychotherapist Anca Zăgrian and director Delia Gavliţchi, both with extensive experience in early education. Those who wish to participate are asked to send a registration e-mail to [email protected] or at the ticket agency phone number: 0259 440 742. Participation is free!

Tickets are on sale at the theater's Ticket Agency from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 and 19:00, and on weekends between 10:00 and 13:00. You can also purchase tickets one hour before each performance or online at www.biletmaster.ro. For additional information and ticket reservations, please call: 0259/440.742. Please note that places at the performances and conference are limited.

We are waiting for you at the theater!
