The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to invite you to the premiere of the show "Trombonel – Hoțul Zăpezii", by Sînziana Popescu, directed by Florian Silaghi, which will take place on Sunday, December 10, at 11:00 AM, at the Great Hall. The show, organized on the occasion of the winter holidays, is the last premiere of this year, a fact that materialized by reserving the entire hall in a very short time. Therefore, spectators who were unable to purchase tickets in advance have the opportunity to learn the story of Trombonel at the second performance, scheduled on the same day at 1:00 PM. Sînziana Popescu, the author of the text, is a well-known figure in the literary world and many of her writings have been elevated to stage status, being staged in several representative theaters in the country.
Between October 4 and 14, the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre participated with the show "Gulliver" at two festivals in Brazil: the 15th edition of the INTERCÂMBIO DE LINGUAGENS International Festival, which took place in Rio de Janeiro, and the 29th edition of the BONECOS DE CANELA International Theatre Festival.
The Arcadia Children's Theatre Festival continues with two more weeks of storytelling. The holidays for the little ones have arrived, and for the older ones, it is knocking temptingly on the window. The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre invites you during June 4 – July 2, 2017 at a new edition of the Arcadia Children's Theater Festival. A large event, organized together with the Cultural Foundation "International Theater Festival" and the Regina Maria Theater, in partnership with the Oradea City Hall, the National Organization of the Scouts of Romania - Oradea Local Center and the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Oradea and the Region, which will bring a smile to the faces of all children, both the little ones and those who have still retained their playful spirit.
Princes, princesses, dragons, ogres, fairies, mischievous cats, all the favorite characters from the most beautiful children's stories will meet in Oradea, eager to meet curious viewers and invite them into the beautiful world of fairy tales. Wonderful performances, presented by theaters from Cluj-Napoca, Oradea, Timișoara, Bucharest, Arad and Ploiești, will delight the Oradea audience for a month, transforming the entire city into a space of storytelling.
One of the surprises of the festival, prepared with great love by the Arcadia Troupe, is the premiere of the show "Hungarian Folk Tales", a show by Igor Lungu. "The Rabbit and the Hedgehog", "The Big Bad Wolf", "The Poor Man and the Tricked Fox" and "The Bear and the Cat", four stories with an explanation, will come to life on the theater stage on Sunday, June 18, at 11:00 AM, at the Arcadia Hall.

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to announce a new premiere: "CINDERELLA", a dramatization of the famous fairy tale of the same name, which enjoys the directorial signature of Adela Moldovan, the assistant director of Florian Silaghi, the set design of Eustațiu Gregorian, the music of Ladislau Lupovits and the costumes made by Oana Cernea, which will take place on Sunday, April 9, from 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at the Arcadia Hall.
World Puppet Theatre Day is celebrated every year on March 21, and the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre has thoroughly prepared for the celebration.

The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre is pleased to invite you to a new premiere: "Gulliver”, adaptation of Jonathan Swift, directed by Radu Dinulescu, which will take place on Sunday, February 19, at 11:00, at the Arcadia Hall. The show starts from the essence of Swift's novel, but the theme is approached in a contemporary manner, both from the point of view of the construction of the subject and that of the stage setting, as it proposes a combination of the universe of puppet animation with stereoscopic 3D images.
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theatre, in partnership with the Ion Creangă Theatre in Bucharest (www.teatrulioncreanga.ro), organizes, between January 27-29, 2017, the first edition of "Mini Fest - theater days for the youngest spectators", an event dedicated to the youngest spectators: children aged between 0 and 6 years.
