Mona Erhan debuted in Oradea in 1998, with roles, we would say, of some difficulty: if we think of that of the Lady in the show "The Maids" by Jean Genet, in which she promptly responded to the director's requests. Tall, imposing, she was truly a Lady who aroused not only respect, but also a certain fear in the two... criminal sisters. She then played the less important role, but with suspense: Pierette in "Is the Assassin Among Us?" ("Eight Women") by Robert Thomas, unfortunately, in a modest show.

Coming directly to Oradea as a graduate, he benefited from intensive employment, appearing in twenty-three roles in just four seasons. Having a pleasant physique and voice, a strange "what" in the way of being on stage, he left a pleasant impression on his colleagues and spectators. His performance in the show "Spring Suicide is Forbidden" by Alejandro Cassona, was noted, along with his colleagues George Musceleanu, Viorica Cernucan, Nicolae Barosan, Ion Abrudan – in a show "somewhat lacking in imagination". He was applauded and praised for the way he recited, intelligently and with moderation, Nicolae Labiş's lyrics from the Labiş Recital.

He made his debut as a professional actor at the Galaţi Theatre, and after four seasons he came to Oradea, where he also played during four „theatrical years”. Endowed with humor, intelligence and artistic grace, he created several expressive and diverse roles, comic or dramatic, such as: Calabazas in „The House with Two Entrances” by Calderón de la Barca, Guliţă in „Chiriţa in the Province” by Vasile Alecsandri, Tom Whyer in „Our Uncle from Jamaica” by Dan Tărchilă, etc. In the play "Interesul general" by Aurel Baranga, the columnist Dumitru Chirilă recorded the effort of Mrs. Marietta Sadova to give consistency to a text, considered by him an "assembly of punchlines", but praises the actors - Grig Dristaru in the role of Linte - for the "fluency of the acting". In "Moartea ultimului golan" by Virgil Stoenescu - in one of the main roles, Fony, Grig Dristaru manages to instill in the character (from the series of... recoverable golans), a wave of humanity, and even poetry.

Macedonian, after her mother, energetic, with a volcanic temperament, intelligent, eager to assert herself in other literary and artistic fields – she writes short prose. She loves good music with a passion. During her studies, she played several roles of great importance and difficulty, such as Lady Macbeth ("Lady Macbeth" by William Shakespeare) or Zoe ("A Lost Letter" by IL Caragiale). At the State Theatre of Oradea, she played several key roles in the three seasons she was employed there. She stood out from her first roles: Agrippina ("The Mother-in-Law with Three Daughters" by Ion Creangă) or Helena ("A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare).

Coming to Oradea, through casting, benefiting from a pleasant physique, she "caught" several good roles in a single season: Magda Minu in "The Last Hour" by Mihail Sebastian, Cherubin in "The Marriage of Figaro" by Beaumarchais, Maria Popa in "A Month of Comfort" by Ştefan Iureş and Ben Dumitrescu.

Marrying Ion Marinescu, she moved to Bucharest, where she appeared on stage for a while, becoming… a housewife!

Transferred from Sibiu in 1961, he created, during the seven seasons in Oradea, several valuable performances, especially with the historical plays: "Horia" by Mihail Davidoglu, "Luceafărul" by B.Şt.Delavrancea, or "Veac de iarnă" by Ion Omescu, "Opinia pubbăle" by Aurel Baranga or "Ultima ora" by Mihail Sebastian. Although without specialized studies, he demonstrated solidity and depth in his performances. In 1968 he transferred to the Theatre in Satu Mare, where he worked until the date of his death. From the very first performance, a critic remarked: "the director is always looking for prestigious repertoire" ("The Dangaards" by Nexö).

After a journey through several Bucharest theaters, after 1948 he played in Reşiţa, Turda and Arad, from the latter transferring to Oradea, in 1957, where he played the role of Zaharia Trahanache in "A Lost Letter by IL Caragiale, a show that inaugurated the activity of the Oradea institution. A four-year-old in life, he proved to be an actor who "knew his trade", a fact proven in the eight roles played in the two seasons spent in Oradea, after which he retired.

He is the son of the well-known theater and film actor Iurie Darie and the actress Consuela Roşu.

Alexandru Darie – Ducu, as he is called in the theater world – came to the State Theater of Oradea at the beginning of the 1983/1984 season, immediately after graduating from the directing department of the IATC Bucharest. His debut was marked by the inconvenience and scandal triggered by the attempt to censor his show by the party forums. It is the show „Jolly Joker”. Tudor Popescu’s comedy – in fact a fierce satire on the so-called „multilaterally developed” socialist society, in fact a society undermined by deprivation, poverty, corruption, lies, a society in which people lived with the fear of expressing their opinion openly, with the fear of being constantly followed, by people paid by the „vigilant” Securitate, of being controlled, etc. The Theater had already gone through something similar with the show „Casa evantai” by Marin Sorescu. This time, the very young director managed to maximize the dangerousness of the satirical text.

Anca Dămăcuş came to Oradea in September 2003 and left in February 2004. Ambitious, talented, the young actress has already won several awards in her artistic record since her student years: for the best actress in a supporting role Top-Fest Târgu-Mureş, 2003 (Martha in the play "Neîntêlegerea" by Albert Camus, directed by prof. Cristina Pardanschi); the Award for the best female performance at the Primul rol Festival Iaşi, 2003 (for the role of Natasha in the play "Three Sisters" by A.P. Chekhov, directed by Gelu Badea).

Intelligent, inquisitive, talented and creative. He writes prose and plays, flirts with directing. He stayed in Oradea for two years. He admirably played the role of Uncle Robert in the comedy "Dust in the Eyes" by Eugène Labiche, directed by Alexandru Dabija. The chronicler noted the ease and playful spirit with which he served the punchlines. He was part of the choir group - with precise tasks and an important role in the much-praised, rightly so, performance by Mihai Măniuţiu: "Electra" after Sophocles and Euripides. Finally, he played in two plays written or dramatised by him: in "The Fireflies" - his own creation (Felippe) and in the dramatisation after Isaac Bashevis Singer, "Netotu'". In this monodrama, in the role of Netotu, Marius Damian proved a certain acting talent, revealing, discreetly but very convincingly, the facets of the well-known character. Recently, he played in a superb show at the Odeon Theatre in Bucharest: "Pyarmus & Thisbe 4 you" (directed by Alexandru Dabija). He played three roles and was exceptional in all of them.

Marius Costea's transition through the Oradea State Theatre was almost meteoric, as he was from Oradea, the management hoped that he would settle here. It is true that, after only a year, he stayed in Oradea, but he changed his profession, opting for Vama Borş. Compared to the income of a novice actor, it is true that the new job, from a material point of view, obviously offered him more satisfaction. The question is whether he did not continue to suffer from not acting anymore, missing the stage. Judging by the fact that he has not tried a "return to his first love" since then, we deduce that the young man has definitively left the world of the stage... Handsome, well-made (we had no way of telling if he had talent or not!), he was noticed in the show "Tache, Ianke și Cadâr" by VIPopa, in the role of young Ionel. Together with Monalisa Basarab (Ana), they formed a harmonious couple - in a show billed as "good, devoid of unnecessary fantasies". As for a small role in the show "Aproape o pădure" by Ana Ripka Rus, he was only doing his best to execute the unfortunately aberrant directorial instructions.

He came to the State Theatre of Oradea in 1996 and stayed here for almost three years, together with the actress Andra Tudor, his wife. During all this time, he gave the impression that he did not adapt – maybe there is nothing wrong with that –, he always seemed dissatisfied, always demanded something… He played relatively a lot of roles and it seems that he was appreciated. After more than satisfactorily interpreting the role of the Other in the controversial show "Outside the Door" by Wolfgang Borchert, made by Sergiu Savin, but then abandoned and left to the choreographer Angela Doni, he interpreted with aplomb and quite a bit of humor the characters Lucas in "Doctor fără voie" by Molière, Calidorus in "Pseudolus" by Plaut, Miltias in "Proces pentru umbra unui măgar" by Friedrich Dürrenmatt – shows that, unfortunately, were not of great value, and were performed relatively little.

Coming from the Baia Mare Theater, together with his wife, in the 1963/1964 season, he stood out as a sensitive and powerful actor, creating several remarkable roles: Horia, in the homonymous play by Mihail Davidoglu, Eddie in "View from the Bridge" by Arthur Miller or Logofătul Teodosie in "Mihai Viteazul. Călugărenii" by Octav Dessila. After only three seasons they returned to Baia Mare.

Star appearance: beautiful, an almost perfect figure, slim, graceful, elegant gait. She played at the Braşov Theater and the "Tănase" Theater in Bucharest. She played almost exclusively leading roles, both dramatic and comedic roles. She debuted with roles of girls, young women in love or in search of love, characters typical of the dramaturgy of those times (Romanian or Soviet plays): Niura in "Poveste din Irkutsk" by Alexei Arbuzov, Mariana Pleşoianu in "Nota zero la purtare" by Virgil Stoenescu and Octavian Sava, Oana in "Râsul pâmântului" by Radu Ţenţulescu, but also well-constructed characters in valuable comedies (Belisa in "Mofturile Belisai" by Lope de Vega, Axinia in "Pădurea" by N. Ostrovski). She was remarkable in countless roles of very diverse nature, under the baton of director Alexandru Colpacci (an Arkadina in "The Seagull" by A.P. Chekhov of immense finesse and sensitivity, well hidden under the mask of the frustration of the aging artist).

Mircea Constantinescu came to Oradea in the year of his graduation (1975), together with three classmates (Ileana Iurciuc, Mariana Neagu, Radu Vaida). His teacher was the eminent director Sanda Manu, who demanded from her students both maximum seriousness in their professional training and impeccable conduct. Mircea Constantinescu did not disappoint his teacher, being today not only an exceptional actor, but also a serious teacher, appreciated and loved by his students. The roles that imposed him at the Oradea Theater were those of the "rebellious, nonconformist, rebel" type: Son Adrian from the exceptional show "The Balcony" by DRPopescu, signed by Alexandru Colpacci, "a conscience on alert, a frantic seeker of truth and right conduct", aspiring to purity and even risking his life to preserve his ideals. One of the roles that categorically imposed him on a national level was AA from the much praised "The Emigrants" by Slawomir Mrožek (artistic director: Alexandru Colpacci), where he played alongside his colleague Radu Vaida, a couple that experienced well-deserved success, playing in numerous performances, in national tours.

Ioan Coman is part of the rarer category of actors who add to their talent an enormous amount of work, discipline, intelligence, study, qualities that recommend him for leading and large-scale roles. From his debut, Ioan Coman was cast in the role of Victor Petrini ("If Love Aren't..." by Elena Preda and Eugen Ţugulea, based on the novel "The Most Beloved of the Earth" by Marin Preda), a role of great responsibility, which obviously exceeded the capacity of a young man to understand and create the character of a philosopher of Petrini's caliber. And yet, even if the show was not a definite success, with shortcomings stemming from the "lack of drama" - which dramatizations often sin - the actor created a credible character at least, although he still lacked depth, the meditative side, the sharpness of thought, and life experience. He certainly used the professional experience acquired in the careful preparation, under the guidance of director Sergiu Savin, of the role of Beckman in the show "Outside, in Front of the Door" by Wolfgang Borchert.

Studies: Institute of Theater and Cinematography "ILCaragiale" Bucharest, theater directing department, 1970, class of professors Ion Olteanu and Mihai Dimiu, but as a student he also collaborated with other prominent names in Romanian directing, such as Radu Penciulescu.

Alexandru Colpacci's debut took place, therefore, in 1970, the year of his graduation, during the directorship of Emanoil Enghel. And it was with a not-so-easy play: "The Disappearance of Galy Gay" ("A Man = A Man") by Bertolt Brecht. It was a good, well-thought-out show, even though the very young director was just beginning to get to know the troupe. A troupe that he would gradually form, and with which he would experience beautiful, undeniable successes. The show was shocking in places, but it clearly communicated Brechtian ideas, on which they were grafted, rigorously, but also with the wave of humor and detachment that undoubtedly belonged to the talented director. He did not stage, like other directors, three or four plays per season. He prepared intensely and for a long time for each show and did not stage more than two shows in a season.

Before arriving at the Oradea Theater in 1957, he played until the establishment of state theaters in 1948, on the stages of several Bucharest theaters, then, like a true globetrotter, in theaters in Craiova, Arad, Ploieşti, Baia Mare and Galaţi, from Oradea leaving for Piteşti, where he remained until the end of his career and... of his life. A massive actor, with an impressive physique and voice, he created, with great talent, a gallery of diverse roles, comedic or dramatic, which revealed a well-defined artistic personality.
