The long-awaited premiere at the Regina Maria Theater in Oradea took place on April 5 and 6 this year, 2025. It is about Shakespeare's Richard III, translated by Horia Gârbea - stage version by Alexandra Felseghi and Andrei Măjeri, with inserts from Henry VI. Directed by: Andrei Măjeri, who last year received the Uniter for the show Cine la ucis pe tata. Ambitious director, who has never disappointed.

Richard III Andrei Măjeri's work outlines the geography of a series of couples, in turn generated by the doublet demonism – fascination. Taking the Shakespearean text, the one in Horia Gârbea's translation from the monumental Volceanov edition, published by Tracus Arte, the stage version worked on by the director together with Alexandra Felseghi, with inserts from Henry VI, brings to the stage all generations, actors and characters, from Luca Bran, a 10-year-old kid with a measured aplomb of naturalness (in the role of Richmond), and Robert Balint, only five years older and in a triple role (the crown princes, in the mirror during the adolescent reactivity generated by the primacy to the throne, but also a page), to the undisputed stars of the "Regina Maria" Theater in Oradea, Ioana Dragoș Gajdó and Richard Balint (in four roles quickly changed and with exceptional individualization). The key to the story (which was once a turbulent and extremely violent period in England, when the Hundred Years' War ended with the fall of Constantinople at the other end of Europe, only to have the War of the Roses begin just two years later, for another 32 years), which ends two years before the end of the conflict between the houses of Lancaster and York, is one that goes beyond factual history, to unfold almost Faustically, through the Richard - Buckingham couple, created by Petre Ghimbășan and Răzvan Vicoveanu. The first, a fascinating demon, a kind of Mephisto for whom crimes are both mischief and substantial strategy at the same time, the second a Faust without a portfolio, whose only emotion is the fascination exercised by Richard, coupled unacknowledgedly, if not unconsciously, with certain interests of rank and wealth, of exercising power according to the model of the manipulative idol.

On June 27, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Reșița audience was invited to laugh, be silent, listen and applaud. The Regina Maria Theater in Oradea honored the New Wave International Theater Festival with one of its best productions: "The Accusative Genre", a tragicomedy directed by Mimi Brănescu, which brought to the Reșița stage an explosion of unspoken truths, cruel humor and authentic emotion. A show that demonstrated that theater can be, at the same time, a mirror, a wound and a balm.
TRM Poetry is a program dedicated to poetry lovers. Combining lyrics with dramatic interpretation, it explores the sensitive and profound universe of poetry, offering participants an emotional and authentic experience.
Summer evenings are full of stories, and children are the ones who feel their magic the best. So, we thought of an educational and interactive way to spend our time: a play and story workshop, through which children can develop their distributive attention, motor skills, rhythm, coordination and team spirit.
TRM Summer Academy is an intensive personal development program through theatrical techniques, organized by the Regina Maria Theater between July 1-11, 2025. The program is intended for young people and adults (+16 years) passionate about theater and personal development and promises a memorable experience, full of creativity, inspiration and connection.
We live in a world that challenges our minds daily. Children and adolescents grow up in an environment where they are exposed to an avalanche of information, influences, and opinions. In this context, the ability to filter, analyze, and question reality becomes not only a useful skill, but an essential condition for their emotional and intellectual balance.
The project CURIOUS MINDS is a non-formal education initiative with artistic support, initiated by the Eclectica Cultural Association in partnership with the Arcadia Troupe of the Regina Maria Theater, and aims to develop critical thinking, empathy and argumentation skills among children and adolescents.
Over 40 third-grade students from the "Lorántffy Zsuzsanna" Reformed Theological High School and the "Emanuel" Baptist Theological High School met on Friday, May 30, at the Arcadia Theater, to discover the power of play that transcends languages and cultures.
June brings touching stories, comedies and musicals to the Regina Maria Theatre stage, for adults and children alike. The program includes the most recent premieres of the two companies, shows from past seasons that are returning to the stage, as well as guest performances and related events.
The Arcadia troupe of the Regina Maria Theater is pleased to invite you to the conference "Me, my child and our relationship", held by psychotherapist Genina Nicolae, a mental health specialist. The event will take place on Friday, June 13, starting at 6:00 PM, at the Arcadia Hall in Oradea.
Genina Nicolae is a psychotherapist accredited in experiential and unification psychotherapy, specializing in working with adults, children, couples and families. She also has advanced training in Multigenerational Psychotraumatology, Constellation of Intention, the method "Compassionate Inquiry", "Somatic Experiencing" and "Connecting with Children".
The conference theme focuses on the relationship between parents and children are in preadolescence, which is a delicate stage, characterized by profound transformations both emotionally and behaviorally. Although relational challenges are often associated with adolescence, the way this transitional period is approached has a major impact on family dynamics. Preadolescence can be perceived by parents as a time of distance, but with patience, empathy and a better understanding of the child's needs, this moment becomes an important opportunity to strengthen the bond and build a relationship based on trust and authentic communication.
The event will be held in two parts: a theoretical section, which will explore the characteristics of preadolescence and parent-child relational dynamics, followed by an interactive question and answer (Q&A) session, in which participants will be able to ask questions in a safe setting.

In May, the Regina Maria Theater continued to fulfill its cultural mission not only on the Oradea stage, but also outside the city, through a series of performances and special events that brought the theater closer to communities in Bihor County and the country.
On Monday, May 26, the XXXII edition of the UNITER Awards Gala took place in the "Amza Pellea" Hall of the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater in Craiova.
During the ceremony, the young director Alex Ianăși, who began his career on the stage of the Regina Maria Theater, won the award for Best debut for the show ELIF AND THE RAIN, whose premiere took place on December 21 and 22, 2024, at the Transilvania Hall.
